What does the Incident Management software look like?
We have made it easy for organisations to report and gather information about incidents. IMS helps gather details about incidents and identify underlying and root causes. IMS also provides a means of letting staff and stakeholders know that changes have been made, based on reporting and analysing incidents.
Main Gallery View
The main page of HSE Incident Managment, where a complete list of reported incidents are displayed with the type of incident, case manager, date of incident whether it is RIDDOR reportable, and status.
Filtered Gallery View
On the left, selectable tabs can filter the gallery by incident type. On the right, a pop out with additional filters by status, type and department is available. A search bar can filter by case manager.
Specified Injury Reporting
The main incident reporting screen where preliminary incident information can be captured. In this example, a specified injury has occurred which would require reporting to RIDDOR.
Occupational Diseases Reporting
For this case, we can see that an occupational disease has been input, and that a medical profession has diagnosed it. Because of this, the case would be reportable to RIDDOR.
Dangerous Occurrence Reporting
In this example, a dangerous occurrence has been reported, once again qualifying for RIDDOR reporting regulations. Details can be captured on the right-hand side of the form.
Informational Pop Up
Details pertaining the the Safety, Health and Walfare at Work Act 2005. This also provides contact information for HSE, specifically RIDDOR reporting, with links that navigate users to the HSE webpage.
Incident Information
Key person(s) information can be captured here, as well as department, days of absence, and risk matrixes. Documents or images related to the incident can also be stored against this item.
Risk Matrix and Control Measures
A tab specific to Health & Safety teams is available where control measures and outcomes can be input. Comparison risk matrixes can be captured to show how successful these controls are.
Power BI Summary
For Health & Safety or management insights, a Power BI dashboard has been created. This is self-interrogatable, allowing the user to filter or dig deeper into their incident management data.

What types of incidents are reportable?
If someone has died or has been injured because of a work-related accident, this may have to be reported under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)
Note: Not all accidents are reportable, only when the accident is work-related and results in a reportable injury, as listed below. For an in depth list, please see the HSE information here.
